TESTIMONIAL FROM ONE OF MANY STUDENTS
My road to passing the RPR
The best thing that I think I learned from
Loretta on speed training was
just listening to something really, really
fast.
Don't write it, just listen.
Then when a 225 wpm dictation is played, it actually does sound slow.
I also would practice at speeds of 240 to 260
(which of course I was not getting),
but again,
it made 225 sound slow.
I was practicing a good couple of months
even before the test.
I
would try to practice at night, or in the morning,
wherever I
had time.
I passed my RPR exam on my first attempt
with only about
eight errors on all three parts!
I was floored when I saw the results.
Of
course the first test they administer is the literary portion,
which
I think is the hardest, but not so fast.
Of course
my fingers froze the first couple of seconds,
but then I
calmed down.
After all, it's been 15 years since I took
a speed test.
Now I'm on to the CRR this May, practicing the same way,
listening to really fast dictation and practicing at high speeds.
I never thought
in a million years I would be a real-time reporter.
Thank you
Loretta for getting me where I am today!
I can’t
thank you enough.
